Interesting how sometimes when a word or phrase is heard it
plunges you into a deep thought. It can be a distraction but maybe that
distraction is where you needed to head. I followed a distraction like this
last week after listening to a talk at the Tuesday morning men’s group. The
word was “Pensive”. The word itself speaks to what I am talking about. I had
not heard or read that word in a long time and it got me thinking. Everything
seems to move fast anymore. I’m sure my dad and grandfather said the same thing
when they were my age. I suppose life is always moving quickly and we can
travel at its speed or carve from it the time necessary to think and reflect
and grow.
