sinners

We are still sinners.  We keep trying, but we are still sinners.  I run into people with lots of Christian bumper stickers on their cars.  Sometimes they aren't very nice when they drive.  I witnessed a young woman with a shirt on that said, "be aware- life is short."  She was behaving in a manner when I saw her that told me that she had totally forgotten the message on her shirt.

We keep trying.  We hope that things will get better, and some things will, but we are still sinners.  We are still the broken.  That is the bad news.

Thank God for the good news.  Because we are broken, because we are sinners, we need grace, and God gives it to us.  As crazy as we are sometimes, God's gift of grace to us is amazing.  And the world just became a wonderful place.
