the plans of men

Ah, the plans of men and women.  The ideas that we have.  I think I will build a fence.  Great!  We spend a good deal of time in this life constructing things, only to find later that God has other plans.  We totally forgot about the natural order of things.  We totally forgot that we are but dust.  This person forgot that live trees eventually trump dead trees.

How do you feel when life messes up your design?  Maybe we should be a bit less intransigent and a bit more flexible.  Maybe we should stop being upset when things don't turn out as we expected, and just laugh instead and understand that life is bigger than me.  God is bigger than me.  And it's all good.
