What do you think? Is it "rain rain go away, come again another day" or "April showers bring May flowers." Is your response to rain one of joy or despair?
Into each life a little rain must fall. The Bible teaches us that the trials that we face in life teach us patience.
Rain in also symbolic of the move of God. It is seen in the Scripture as a blessing to the land, the crops and the people. Christians have spoken for years about the rain of the Spirit. The gentle healing rain of the Holy Spirit falling onto our hearts. The rain of the Spirit softens our hearts and prepares us for the move of God.
A little rain in your life? Maybe God is up to something.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Jeff, you think of the most interesting subjects to write about. I always welcome rain (except in cases of destructive flooding) because it feels like a sense of release..something being let go...refreshing and relaxing.
I sometimes get amused though when people say, "it's going to be a wonderful night for sleep, because it's raining." So do they actually sleep, or lay awake and listen to the rain. I think it's more of a statement that "it's going to feel so good when I go to sleep tonight, listening to the rain."
Another miracle of God's providence, and prayers for people in the world who are suffering destruction waiting for rain to heal a drought.
