Freedom

On a day that we celebrate freedom, I am concerned about the recent supreme court decision that makes the president immune from certain actions.

I would like to believe that no one is above the law.  Whether you support Trump, Biden or someone else, the moment that we have a president that is not constrained by the law, we no longer have a president, we have a king.

If such limited liability was in place when Nixon was president, he would never have had to resign.

I fear that we are sliding down a slippery slope.

On a positive note, the character of good men and women can keep our nation on track.  May we all pray for the leaders of our country.
