winter cardinal

My picture does not do it justice, but it was a beautiful little Christmas present.  I was out by the driveway and I heard a flutter in the tree.  I looked up, and  was a bit surprised to see this beautiful male cardinal.

I love cardinals.  My mom loved them.  They are so pretty.  They are one of those creatures that remind me that God has made a beautiful world. 

So, it's winter.  The weather is cold, the sky is gray and the trees are barren.  But there is still much good to see.  There is still much beauty.  Everywhere, every day, if we just keep looking.


It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
