fortunate

From time to time, I run into people my age who are in poor health, and it causes me to think.

I am so grateful for good health.  I am so thankful that at the young age of almost 67, I can still work.  I can climb ladders and swing a hammer and I love it.

From time to time I pinch myself.  My gosh, here you are Jeff... you can see pretty well, you can hear pretty well, you can walk pretty well [thanks to a knee replacement] you have your wits about you, you pass the annual memory tests, and you are in good health.

I think about this every day and I give thanks to God for all of these things.

IT IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN GOD'S WORLD, BE SURE TO SEE THE GOOD.
