into the wild

I watched this movie again the other night.  Into the Wild.  It is a true story of a young man's journeys to California and Alaska.  He ends up living in an abandoned bus deep in the wilderness.  I am not sure why, but I find the movie very interesting.  It was produced in 2007.

One of the lines from the movie is "when your kids are messed up, you live in suspended animation."

Wow.  Can I relate to that.  Maybe you can too.  Even if you don't have kids or if your kids are angels, surely we all understand those moments of life when pain comes in such waves that we are stuck in what seems like suspended animation.

Thankfully, there is something that can break through suspended animation, and that is the loving embrace of our Father.  When difficulty seems to be coming in waves, keep going back to God.  Pain seems immovable and constant, but it is not.   Only God is immovable and constant.  He is there, all the time- dependable, solid, and trustworthy.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
