purpose

I have to admit that since I have been out of the active ministry, I sometimes feel a lack of purpose.  I have to keep reminding myself of this... every day we come into contact with human beings who  need our love.  This is a chance for ministry that I do not want to miss.

"I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be honorable, to be compassionate.  It is, after all, to matter:  to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all."     Leo C. Rosten

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

It would be great if someone would write a guide on what to do with their life when they retire. Very few people do it well!
