day 4

The Medieval town of Lucca, Italy.   And the leaning tower of Pisa.

The city walls of Lucca were amazing.

The front façade of the Lucca Cathedral

The church and tower in Pisa.

yes the tower leans!  and so beautiful!

Why does Pisa have a tower?  Every city in Catholic Europe has a tower.  The Catholic religious complexes had 3 buildings- the Cathedral, the bell tower [leaning tower of Pisa] and a separate building for baptisms.

So the leaning tower, is a bell tower.  Do you think the bell would ring if the tower leaned?

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
