Possibly one of our worst sins as humans is taking things for granted. When we don’t have enough of a thing, we want it. During the hurricane, water was scarce so everyone wanted it. We crave the things that we don’t have. Then one day we wake up and we see that we have so much.
We wake up in beautiful homes with nice cars and television sets. We shower in clean water, we eat fresh food and we surf the web. We are so entitled, we get mad when the cable goes out or the internet is down.
It is time to appreciate our abundance. It is time to count our blessings. There are so many.
It’s a beautiful day in God’s world, be sure to see the good.
