Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of my friends and readers.  Happy New Year to people I don't know.  Happy New Year to people who know me and don't like me.  Happy New Year to all.

Should old acquaintance be forgot? I am reminded of Billy Chrystal's line from When Harry Met Sally.... "What does this song mean? My whole life, I don't know what this song means. I mean, 'Should old acquaintance be forgot?' Does that mean that we should forget old acquaintances. Or does it mean that if we happened to forget them, we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot them?"

So from time to time I think about people that I know and love.  From time to time I get a new reader.  In the past few weeks I found out that Di from St. Louis is a reader.  I got a nice note from my friend Michelle who evidently has been reading for some time.  I think of so many of you that I have had the privlege of meeting and loving in this life.  We are all so fortunate to have people to love.

May this year bring us good.  No more shootings.  No sickness.  No untimely deaths.  May this new year bring us lots of smiles, lots of hugs and lots of laughter.  May all of our churches do well this year.  May God's love ooze out through us, may it rush out through us.  May we be conduits of joy to many in this coming year.

Hello to my friends one and all.  To Joe and Judy, Ginger, Joanne, Nancy, Aaron, Michelle, Paul, Billie, Gina, Dave, Amy, Michael, Sherri, Bruce, Laura, Pat, Carol, Chris, and to 1,000 others whose names I have not mentioned but you are dearly loved!

Happy New Year one and all!

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
