your self esteem

Everyone is worried about their self-esteem. How we feel about ourselves is very important. It is important that we learn that we are ok, that we are loved.

It is sad when a person allows their self esteem to be crushed by the actions or words of another person. We have to learn to remember that other people do not define us. If someone thinks or says that we are bad, that does not mean that we are bad.

God is the one who speaks life to our self-esteem. He is the one who created us and said that we were good. He placed within us His image. His fingerprint. The spark of the divine. He is the one that "so loved the world." He is the one that deemed you "worth it" when Jesus died on the cross. Now, to add to that, He woke you up today and gave you the breath of life. You are very valuable.

Do not allow anyone to rob you of the truth. You can love yourself because God says that you are loveable.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Oh if I only had this perspective in my teens and twenties...I'll do better to try to pass it to my kids. Thanks
