inclement weather

Good Morning-

There is about three inches of snow on the ground at 6:15am.  Snow continues to fall and is blowing.  The church lot is being plowed at this very moment.

We will be holding services per our usual schedule of 8:00am, 9:05am, 10:10am and 11:15am.

If the weather keeps you from attending, we invite you to worship with us on live streaming by going to the web site

https://new.livestream.com/woodschapel

note- do not type the "WWW"

It's a beautiful day in God's world. Be sure to see the good.

Jeff, your compassionate message to our WCC family does not surprise me. You and your staff give much, to ensure that church goes on, for those who have the four wheel drives, etc. to get around in this more easily.

Take good care of Jeff in all this. Here's hoping you parked a little closer in this morning and didn't trudge through all the snow, wind and cold, and walking in the dark from clear out by the trash containers, to save room for others who could come.

You have freed people from guilt about not being there today if it's hard. I hope our WCC generous church family will remember that regardless of the weather, expense for such a large, ministering complex go on, regardless of the weather. Our monetary gifts back to God help keep this place running.

And snow is a blessing for the beautiful WCC Landscape and gardens in the Spring.

God bless, and take it easy under foot.

Jeff: We watched the 9:05 a.m. service on livestream.com.

At the peak you had 96 connections (and probably many more people watching)

Thank you so much for notifying us of the availability of LiveStream. It was good to "go to church" virtually on a snowy Sunday morning (the snow plows in Lakewood were very slow to get to our street so we chose not to tempt fate and instead watched online).

Anyway, congratulation on another excellent sermon. Loved the video clips from "A Bug's Life".
