Give the thing a little time. Love is bigger than pain. That is how friends stay friends and how brothers stay brothers. You stay with a thing. Love is bigger than the hurt.
All the connections can be renewed. If there is someone that you have set aside, let the love in your heart grow and flow toward them. There might be yet, some good on the other side.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
