history

I love history.  I am not sure why.  Why do we love the things that we love?  I am just very interested in history and archeology.  Somehow, when I think of what people did and thought and built hundreds of years ago, it puts my life into perspective.

This is a picture of a Roman aqueduct from Sergovia, Spain.  My friends Fred and Irene are in Europe and they are sending me pictures.  I am going to have to make my own visit there some time.

History reminds us that we are not as smart as we may think.  It also reminds us to apply ourselves to life because we will not be here for ever.
