Hurricane Nicole

Early yesterday morning, Hurricane Nicole made landfall in Vero Beach.  That is our home town.  Hurricane force winds of 75 mph sound like a lot, but the strong hurricanes have much higher wind speeds.

I was not able to get home because the airports were closed down, but my wife and son reported that the storm is passed and we have no damage.

Power went out at 2am but returned at 4am.

As much as we can worry about our homes and property, it is always healthy to remember that houses can be replaced.  People matter.

Everyone is safe.  We will clean up the branches.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
