Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you my dear friends!!!

I was talking with someone the other day and they said that they just didn't enjoy Christmas like they used to.

Hmm.  I thought about that.  The aging process, health issues, the loss of friends, all of that and more can cause a person to grow sullen about life.  Yes, it sure can.

But it doesn't have to.

Did we think that we would be young forever?  Did we think that we were immune to the death of loved ones?

We know better.

And best of all, although things change in our lives, the message of Christmas does not change.  God loves you.  You matter to God.

This my friends is good news.  We all want to be loved.  Christmas is the reminder that God loves us.  You are loved!!!  I am loved!!!

Even if we are home alone this year, even if loved ones cannot make the trip, we can still be filled with the joy of knowing that we are loved.

Find a neighbor, find a friend, encounter a stranger and say to them...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! YOU ARE LOVED!!!
