As I sit here this morning, it is raining. Its a good, moderate, steady rain. There are several things in nature that have a mesmerizing effect on humans. Rain is one of the them. Others include: sitting by an open fire, sitting at the beach watching and listening to the waves, and feeling the wind blow thru the trees and onto your face.

These pieces of nature are gifts from God. Earth, wind and fire. There is something about these places and times that bring a soothing peace to the soul. They are God's reminders that he is big, creative, and he knows how to reach into the souls of men and women.

If something got rained out in your life today, thats ok. Let it go. Get a cup of coffee, listen to the rain, and spend some time in prayer.
