birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. I received lots of cards and posts on facebook. Thank you all for your kind words. We had a nice service at church, then I got to do some of my favorite things: lunch after church, and a nap. I even got to pull some weeds in the afternoon.

Two years ago when I turned 50, Scott made fun of me saying, "hey Dad, you are old!" I told him, "Son, I have known many people who did not get the chance to be 50. I hope some day you get the opportunity." That changed his tune.

It is good. It is all good.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
