I lived in San Jose, California for 7 years. I went to Jr and Sr high there and started college at San Jose State. So I have grown to love the bay area. As the song goes, I left my heart.........
The weather is amazing and so are the sights. Here are a few pics from our recent trip.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Oh sweet. Glad you and Kathy got to go there. Sometimes I wonder whether vacations are worth it, when you come right back to the daily load. But this vacation certainly looks like it was worth it.
Jeff, you are so faithful to sharing your every day life experiences. Your post today, and the mention of your life in California, reminded me of earlier family things you've shared.
Sometime if you want to share further, I would love to hear about the following:
1) What you shared on Mother's Day, about your mom's passing, made me realize that you were pretty young when she went to be with the Lord. Was that extra tough, because it seemed so untimely? Also, for those of us who were not around at WCC, when each of your parents passed on, had your mom been sick for a long time? And had your dad been sick a long time when he died?
2) You have shared some, about your dad losing a job at one point in your growing up years, and I think he was without a job for a year, and your mom had to work some. Compared to the world of today, where people continually change careers and move all over the country, or all over the world, your dad's having located in California must have a career story behind it. What took your family to California and what brought you back to Missouri?
3. How did your dad do, in the time period when he was a widower, until his own passing? It seems like most men in your dad's generation were highly dependent on the woman's presence to care for them.
God bless. You were raised in a good family, even though some of the things could have better, as with all families.
