Holiness

There is a holiness in the redwood forest.  It is a feeling that is beyond description.  I wonder if the tall canopy gives us a sense of space or a sense of awe.  We build high ceilings in our churches, they somehow provide a sense of the holy.  In the redwood forest, there is a natural sense of awe, an awareness of the holy.  You can feel that we are a small part of something so much bigger.  It is amazing to think that some of these trees have been here for 1500 years!  And they will be there long after I am gone.  God is big.  Really big.  And he owns some really big beautiful trees!

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
