the President's home

pathway to her home is 200 yards from the main road, muddy and steep.
Here are some pictures from the home of the president of the village of Los Pinos. Her name is Angelita.

Her 21 year old daughter has kidney disease and is not expected to live.
unusual to have pictures or a hammock in Los Pinos.

pet parrot.  also unusual.

she carries water 200 yards from the well

We have been so blessed.  Someone told me last week that we should never again say, "God bless America," because God HAS blessed America.  We have so much, may we be grateful.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

God bless the "President." She looks like a wonderful woman. Thoughts of your sermon this morning, and a statement in it God really used to speak to mean.

"Hardship is a path to peace." This poor woman must be finding peace through leadership and enduring hardship, along with those she serves. Great sermon this morning, Jeff. You are so very good with illustrating your sermons, such as you did with those men representing the load.

God bless you.

This is "way off the beaten path." But since you've been talking trees and forests in California and in Nicaragua, and since chiggers are usually found in dense green places, this seemed like the time to ask a question.

When I first began following your blog there was someone who followed it, that used an interesting name "Chigger Farmer." Did you know who Chigger Farmer was? Have wondered what happened to him. Never see his reply posts on your blog any more.

Thanks.
