Make Friends

Problems.  We all have them.  The question is whether they will dominate our lives or not.  Even if you have a terrible problem, you can still choose to work on learning to live on the other side of it.

Lets say we are going to die.  Oh, wait, we are going to die.  Every single one of us.  Now we can spend every day being upset about that, or we can make friends with the fact that we are not going to be here forever.  We can get up in the morning and live.

My problems are what they are.  Some we can fix, some will go away.  Some will not.  Sometimes in life we get what we want, and sometimes in life we get what we get.

The greatest joy we will ever have is when we can trust God with our burdens and get on with our lives.

It is a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

Always the pragmatic, encouraging reasoner. Reminds me of "come let us reason together" in the scriptures.

Loved your reality check about the certainty of death. Heard another cute one a few years ago. No specific originator of the phrase. "Everyone gets to come, but no one gets to stay."

One of my main life goals is to stay alive all my life (alive to God, alive to others, alive to the blessing of living and being.)
