Stay close to those whom you love...

My friend Hubert Neth posted this on facebook.  He is a wonderful and a profound man.  I honor him.  He writes in a unique style.  I loved this...

tom and
ed were
best friends
growing up
in schools
later both
worked
downtown
drank coffee
together
almost daily
at a corner
cafe
talked about
personal matters
local stories
and rumors
current sports
national events
worldwide reports
then one fall
a subject
surfaced
about which
they held
completely
opposite
opinions
conversation
became intense
emotional
almost angry
until both left
announcing
i wont be back
time elapsed
one day
tom heard
eds only chiild
had arrived
put him
in a facility
and left town
later tom decided
to visit his old friend
drove there
walked a hallway
to his room
but another man
was in the bed
tom asked a nurse
where ed was
she replied oh
he died last week
asked for you often
but we didnt know
how you could be
reached
tom left
silently
stopped at
the cafe
sat in a rear booth
alone and
wept
h.

A lovely reminder of how important it is to put love first.  Don't let disagreements end relationships.  Life is short.  Keep on loving.  Work to make amends.  Get over yourself and reengage with loved ones as much as possible.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
