Ireland - Day 6

Today we worshipped at the Methodist church in Kinsale.
Then we drove to Cobh [pronounced Cove] which is near Cork.
We had a wonderful tour of the city and visited a Titanic museum.  Cobh, formerly known as Queenstown was the last stop of the Titanic before her ill fated voyage.

Baptist church on the left, Methodist on the right.
We heard a very good message today on gratitude.
Normal attendance is 12 so our bus full swelled the ranks.

Inside the Methodist Church

Old buildings in Kinsale.

Some of the architecture that we have seen has been stunning.
Simple but beautiful.

Kinsale is a fishing town on the SE coast of Ireland.

Old Pillar Methodist church in Cobh.  Finally vacated by the Methodists,
it was a pub for some time.  Now it is available if you would like to buy it.

buildings in Cobh.  A beautiful town.
We ate fish and chips for lunch.

Pier where 123 unfortunate souls boarded shuttle tenders for the Titanic.
A few lucky souls got off the ship in Cobh.  We visited the White Star
line's ticket office.  The local buildings are just as they were in 1912.

Our group is having a wonderful time!  The people of Ireland are very favorable toward Americans.  We are seeing such amazing things!

It's a beautiful day in God's world be sure to see the good.
