Don't hurt back

So someone hurt you.

You have the opportunity to point it out publicly, or on social media. You can call them out on it. You can get even. You can hurt back. You can do to them what they did to you. You can make them look like a complete fool.

But the bigger part of you says there’s no point of that. Karma is what karma is. Jesus said, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." He did not say do to them what they did to you.

Instead, do to them what you wish they would have done to you.

No grace from them to you? Then you be sure to deliver grace to them. We still have to sleep at night. We should not succumb to our weakness and try to hurt back. We can stand tall and believe that life is lived better if we choose not to hurt those who hurt us.

Weakness hurts others.  Strength bears the pain and delivers grace, and feels good about their life at the end of the day.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
