grief

Sometimes in life we encounter a hurt that is unfathomable. There are levels of grief that are so deep and so painful.

If you are experiencing such grief, or if you know someone that is, here are some thoughts.

Grief is normal.  It is not something to push away.  We need to allow ourselves to go thru these valleys.  Remember that in the valley, you are not alone because our Shepherd goes with us.  Remember that the valley is something that you pass through.  You will come out on the other side.

Remember that grief is a sign of love.  The deeper the love, the deeper the grief is felt at the time of loss.  If we don't know someone, we don't grieve losing them.  But Oh, losing the ones that we love hurts so much.  Watching our friends hurt, hurts so much.

Love yourself.  Spent time with those you love.  Be there for them.  Hug them.  If you are grieving today, I love you and I hug you.

It's still a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
