Fare is the cost of a bus ticket. Very easy to understand.
Fair is the concept that life should treat people equally. This is never going to happen. In the sermon on the mount, Jesus said, "the sun rises on the just and the unjust." There is nothing in life that is fair.
Selfish people use their power to help themselves. A hurricane destroys one house but not another. The rain falls on the just and the unjust.
Fair is not a concept that we can live by. The fair is in October. There is no fair in this life.
What we do get in this life is the opportunity to work hard. Usually, most often, if a person works hard, you get good results. But not always, because life is not fair. But we need to keep working as hard as we can for the outcomes that we desire.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
