It is reported that John Wesley [the founder of Methodism] that his last words as he passed were, "the best that we know is this... that God is with us."
Last week I sat in a funeral. The day was filled with grief. So many of my friends with swollen eyes and heavy hearts. And I had this thought... "God is with us."
In our grief, God is with us. On our good days, God is with us. When we are not paying attention, God is with us. When we don't believe in him, God is with us. Simply put, it is a pretty good and pretty comforting truth... God is with us.
Where ever you are, who ever you are, what ever you are doing, what ever you do or do not believe, please know that you are not alone. You are never alone. God is with you.
God is with you.
It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
