a text

This week, a mother who attends our church received this text from her teenage daughter:

:*(last4danitebut:Dcomesndamrnin

Do you see the message? It is from Sunday's sermon. It is Psalm 30:5
"weeping lasts for the night but joy comes in the morning."

I love it when I see our kids taking in and applying what they hear in church. The fact that we have teenagers listening is awesome to me.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.

I look forward to the day when we have space for families to sit together in worship and celebrate God for more than 50 minutes at a time. Family worship will spark family discussions and the little ones are listening for what parents veiw as important. Even if you require someone else to translate the text.

WAY cute . . . I must get faster at deciphering but I do love it too that they listen, sometimes, in spite of themselves and then communicate / transfer their info in creative ways :)

Tell me why this brought tears to my eyes instantly while smiling ear to ear!
I love my grown kids, but this makes me miss my teenagers.
