Gulf Shores, Alabama

Today a friend of ours is leaving on a trip. It's not technically a vacation, it's a trip. Do you know the difference between a vacation and a trip?

If you take the kids, its a trip.

Anyway, I wish them well. I hope they have a great time. This is someone that everyone knows and everyone loves.

But I am thinking. Shouldn't we always wish others well? Whether we like them or not, whether we connect with them or not, shouldn't we wish other people well?

If you have someone in your life that you wish would get run over by a truck, well that attitude owns a little piece of you. When you can wish others well, you release yourself from bad feelings that you may have about them.

The car salesman that pressured you, the handyman that overcharged you, the cousin who is always rude. And countless others. Lets wish them well. Lets pray for them. Let's get them on the list of people that we pray good things for.

Our day will be less cluttered with bad feelings, leaving more room for the good, the joy and the glory.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
