Halloween

Halloween or "All Hallows Eve" is, or was, an ancient celebration on the night before All Saints Day.  The folks would have a party, remembering those who have gone on before.  This mutated into costumes, ghosts, goblins and the like.

All Hallows Eve is about remembering those friends whom we have lost.  It is not the devil's day.  The devil does not have, does not get a day.  He is a subservient, created, lower level being.

On Halloween, have fun with the kids at your door, but remember your friends who have passed.  Joel Horsch, Dan Horn, Bob Gilstrap, Harry Crowel, and many many others.

Let us give thanks for their lives.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
