Now entering the mission field

One of the things that I was so proud of at Woods Chapel [and still am so proud of] was our decision to become missional.  We came to believe that if a church is not missional, it is not the church.

We are not here to make a nice place for us to sing and pray.  We are not here to worship the Bible or attend Sunday School classes.  We are here to be in mission.  Every aspect of the church, every group in the church should point people into mission.  We are here to be motivated to go out into the world to help others.

Missions isn't just what the missions department does, it is what every Christian does.

We planted this sign on the way out of the property.  We also put similar words up on the walls of every building exit.

The walking trail is visible as is the introduction
to the stations of the cross.

I hope that it continues to motivate people to understand why the church exists.  Are you in the mission field?  Are you looking for people to be good to?  Christians are missional.

It's a beautiful day in God's world, be sure to see the good.
